Do people really think organic cigarettes are less unhealthy?
Is it that non organic tobacco is not washed well making it so you smoke pesticides which gives you extra carcinogens? I have been hearing people say that organic cigarettes (American Spirits) are better for you, but how can this be? Inhaling any smoke is unhealthy but how is this any better?

Organically grown tobacco does not have synthetic pesticides and fungicides used on it.
Most tobacco is cured using well over 600 chemical ranging from sugar to benzene. Organic tobacco ( and all other American Spirit tobacco along with most European tobaccos) cannot be cured using these chemicals. It is cured the old fashioned way without any such chemicals which means it takes a couple of years longer to get the smooth taste (not fully cured tobacco is very very harsh and it takes between 2 and 5 years to get the stuff to taste smooth)
